Rosario Isabel Dawson (born May 9, 1979)[3] is an American actress and producer. Her first feature film appearance was in the 1995 independent drama Kids. Her roles in the following films include He Got Game (1998) and Josie and the Pussycats (2002). Dawson is also a voiceover for Warner Bros./DC Comics as well as ViacomCBS Nickelodeon's Nickelodeon unit. In her role in Rent, Dawson was awarded the Satellite Award in Best Supporting Actress Motion Picture. And for Top Five, Dawson was nominated to the Critics Choice Movie Award in the category of Best Actress in Comedy. Dawson was born in New York City on May 9, 1979. Isabel Celeste is her mother and is of Afro-Cuban descent. Isabel was just 16 at the time that Rosario was born; she was never married to Rosario's father, Patrick C. Harris. Rosario's mother, Greg Dawson, was a construction worker when she was just one year old. Dawson is four years younger than Clay. Clay is Dawson's half-brother. Dawson is also known for her roles in comic-book adaptions. The actress played Ahsoka Tano on the show's second season, which will air in 2020. She will also be appearing in the Disney+ original series Ahsoka. She will also appear in Young Rock, an autobiographical comedy produced by Dwayne John , which will premiere in 2021.
