When she was young, she became ill. It took her six months to be being hospitalized. The illness was later confirmed as Rheumatoid Arthritis. It was his work as a skater with Denis Samokhin that made him popular. They competed at the Junior World Championships in two different years, placing 8th in 1993 and 7th in 1994. Following a brief partnership with Maxim Kachanov, they placed fifth at the Goodwill Games of 1994. In 1995, she joined together alongside Vladimir Fedorov. Both were successful together, securing the Finlandia Trophy two times and taking part in the Grand Prix of Figure Skating. The team was able to achieve great results, but it was their 15th position finishing at the World Championships in 1998 that was the culmination of their partnership.
